It's The Most Wonderful Time

Things have been pretty busy in the Mecham household, hence the lack of blogging for the past 4 months. School has pretty much taken over my entire life, but I only have one semester left (so don't plan on me blogging for another long while).
As you can imagine, a lot has happened during the past couple of months, but I failed to take a lot of pictures so here are a few pictures to let you know what we have been up to lately.

1. We had a great Christmas
It was so fun to spend the day with family and celebrate the birth of our savior. Case and I woke up at about 9:00 a.m. and gave our presents to each other. Case gave me a new iron and ironing board, some perfume, and a net book. I gave case some new shoes, clothes, and a BBQ. Later Christmas night we spent time with Casey's family and my family. Casey's mom and dad gave us a beautiful Christis that sits in our family room. Sibling gifts were exchanged and Caitlin (Casey's sister) gave me a shower kit, full of body wash. My mom and dad did a major fake out and gave the kids a Wii. After the Wii was opened and set up, a big box was given to each child. Inside the box was a Emergency Essentials envelope. Thinking we were all getting a gift card to buy food storage, we were very surprised to find a note telling us we are going to Disneyland in May, we can't wait we are so excited. Sibling gifts were exchanged and Ryan and Meg gave me some lip smackers chap stick, a necklace, and a watch chain. They gave Casey a gun strap for his 17HMR.
**Thank you everyone for a great Christmas!!

2. We set up our Christmas tree about a week before Thanksgiving.

3. We tried making a gingerbread house, but we failed miserably. We ended up making this beautiful Oreo Christmas tree.

4. Case dressed up for Halloween. Mr. Mecham=M&M (the kids loved his costume)
5. Mom and dad went to Yellowstone and brought the boys back this great shirt.

6. We celebrated Lydia's 2nd birthday

What great times to end a great year!! We look forward to the new year, 2010 will be full of excitement.
